According to the American Massage Therapy Association, about 25 % of American adults had a massage at least once during 2016-2017. People have a wide range of reasons for doing so. More and more people are recognizing the health benefits of massage. People can choose from many different massage styles to get relief from symptoms or to heal injuries, to help with certain health conditions, and to promote overall wellness.

Seven Signs you need a massage

  • You haven’t had a massage for months, or even years.  Massage works best when it is received on a regular basis. Many massage therapists recommend receiving a massage at least once a month for maintenance. Massage is needed more often if you have an injury you are working to rehabilitate.

  • You are in training: Summer in Hutchinson, MN ( where you currently choose to call home) can mean marathons, biking, hiking, kayaking, water skiing, and anything else you can squeeze into these 5 months of good weather.   • You no longer have full range of motion. Maybe you’re unable to turn your head/neck as far as you once could. Maybe you can’t lift your arm all the way up.
